- (NEW) MrDing Contax G28 Biogon 28mm f2.8 (M) – If you’re a Zeiss fan Leica MrDing has completed their conversion kit trio for Contax G lens for Leica M mount – 45mm, 35mm and now 28mm. (I own the 25mm and 21mm ZM Biogon lenses and optically they are both fantastic).
- (NEW) Light Lens Lab 75mm f2 SPII (M) – LLL have made a 75mm follow up to their 50mm f2 SPII (See 50mm YouTube review). These “SPII” lenses are different to modern lenses and are designed to mimic the famous “Cook look” which is softer with more glow and vintage character. I’m waiting for a copy of the new 75mm SPII lens to arrive and I’ll make a review for YouTube. (Until then I’ll continue to enjoy their LLL 35mm f1.4 AA – see YouTube).
- (NEW) Thypoch Ksana 35mm f2 (M) – I didn’t realise it was common knowledge yet but as I see this lens already shown on other sites I feel I can tell you too. The 35mm lens will be the second lens in the Thypoch Ksana lens line-up, following their Ksana 21mm f3.5 that I’ve reviewed previously.
- (UPDATE) Mandler 35mm f2 7-Element (KOB) (M) – Following my YouTube videos and Mandler 35mm f2 blog post the lens has sold out on both occasions. Mandler are struggling to keep up with the high demand but hope to list another 400 units on 26th March (20:00 GMT last time). Check the limited stock via the Mandler website and see my review for example photos.
2026 Leica price hike
In March 2026 Leica US increased prices on new cameras and lenses. Reports suggest that ‘popular models like the Leica Q3 will rise by roughly $600, while M11 cameras see increases between $500 and $900. Most M lenses are rising by $100–$500, though SL3 bodies remain unaffected”.
It’s now rumoured that Europe will see a 3% price increase on new Leica products in April.
What does this mean for used Leica prices?
When Leica increases the price of new products this can also increase the price of used cameras and lenses too. For example, older Leica M cameras (say pre-Leica M11 models) often hold their value well or increase in value year on year with the Leica M9-P being the fastest appreciating model.
